David Hayes

The horses offered by First Tuesday have been selected by David Hayes to be trained by David Hayes.

David Hayes is a world class racehorse trainer.  He took over as trainer at Lindsay Park from his father the late Colin Hayes in 1990 and won every premiership in Adelaide and Melbourne for five years before taking on the world stage and accepting a position to train in Hong Kong for a decade from the mid-1990s until half way through 2005.

The Lindsay Park training record is impressive.  A world renowned training complex, Lindsay Park has produced over 9,000 winners, has claimed over 65 training premierships in Adelaide and Melbourne and has trained the winner of over 150 Group 1 races.

There have been some wonderful racehorses that have stepped from Lindsay Park onto racetracks around the world.  Amongst them they have claimed a Japan Cup, 3 Melbourne Cups, 5 Cox Plates, 2 Caulfield Cups, 5 Australian Cups, 2 Sydney Cups, 5 Adelaide Cups, 6 Victoria Derbies, 2 Caulfield Guineas, 6 Blue Diamonds, 2 Golden Slippers, 6 Newmarket Handicaps, 4 Futurity Stakes, 3 Mackinnon Stakes, and 6 Orr Stakes just to name a few.

Lindsay Park has trained champions of the calibre of Dulcify, Better Loosen Up, Almaraad, At Talaq and Special as well as Isca, Rory’s Jester, Jeune, Fields of Omagh, Fraar, Blackfriars, Blevic, Mahaasin, St Covet, Zabeel, Primacy, Planet Ruler, Barely a Moment, Miss Finland, Nadeem, Tawqeet, Sleek Chassis, etc
