Farenheit 451 is a book that was released in 1953. It was written by Ray Bradbury. The title comes from the fact that the temperature at which paper begins to burn is 451 degrees farenheit. I won't go into what the book is about (it's actually pretty good and you can read a synopsis here) but I thought the paper burning part was pretty analagous to the 'paperless office' mantra of the 1990's (which didn't end up happening) and 451 was born.
